Technology in Times of Transition
The International Committee for the History of Technology’s 41th Symposium in Braºov, Romania, 29 July – 2 August 2023

Deadline: 3 February 2023

The 41st ICOHTEC Symposium will be held in Romania at the turn of July and August next year. The main theme of the meeting will be Technology in Times of Transition. The aim is to examine major breaks and turning points in technological development with the following conversion periods in a multi-disciplinary framework.

Call for candidates: Doctoral Program Environment and Society (RCC Munich)

Research on the complex relationships between the environment and society can only be carried out on an interdisciplinary basis. The doctoral program Environment and Society at the Rachel Carson Center in Munich is therefore aimed at graduates from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences who wish to research questions concerning the nature/culture/environment interface.
